Reading Between the Grains

StrathSEEAs penultimate full week on Swedish soil. This week was planned to be the end of the practical work, after we had competed a grain sizings analysis. But for some reason this gave unexpected results, so we decided that it was best to do it again time (time permitting) next week.

Apart from this it has been a successful week, mainly focussed in report writing. A final write up, including graphs, was completed of the hardness depth profile. A couple of in-depth proof reads and edits were carried out by both team members and it was decided that due to the large amount of information in each section that mini-summaries were required at the end of each investigation.

Today on Friday we are hoping to eventually draw together all of the analysis and write up our conclusions to the report. This should leave plenty of time for a full discussion of these conclusions with Giulio to confirm if he agrees with all our findings.

That should leave next week to format our report, as well as complete the website which has been put on hold slightly as we focus on the report.
