Stuck Between a Report and a Hard Place

The beginning of this week was full of micro-hardness testing, with over 300 tests to perform and then to analyse. The optical microscope in which we use to analyse the marks made by the micro-hardness machine was quite fully booked; therefore we had to analyse it the long way most of the time using the in built programme in the micro-hardness machine. However it didn't cause much of a delay or any problems thankfully. This task was finished on Wednesday and we were very pleased that another investigation was complete. However a few samples gave strange results so we'll have to look at them again with Giulio, so maybe not quite complete, but 90%.

Thursday and Friday were used to go over the final draft of the interim report and do some editing. After reading it, we felt quite impressed that we had done so much of the project already and we had physical proof of our hard work. We've got this partnership nailed down to a tee!
