Holding Down the Fort

With both our advisor and PHD student away on business all week it was up to us to keep the place running by ourselves. Since we couldn't get trained on anything new we decided to use this week to make a bug headstart on report writing and website creation.

We completed the write up of our entire 'materials' section and our whole 'surface engineering' section. We also managed to transfer both of these sections into website form. This took a lot longer than we initially thought, but it was fun to get imaginative and creative and we have both been pleasantly surprised by how the website has turned out so far =)

Overall this week has been a nice change from the last few weeks of constant experiment running and we feel we have made real progress towards the final end product!
